Pros
- Escapia is a full-featured, enterprise-level property management software.
- While some property management softwares struggle with their integration with Vrbo, since Escapia is part of the Expedia Group it has a direct and strong connection to Vrbo.
- Its built-in channel connections provide direct access to a broad range of niche booking platforms, especially ones focused on Hawaii, the Gulf Coast, and the Caribbean.
- A wide range of third-party integrations are available to supplement the Escapia feature set.
Cons
- Escapia does not have an API integration with Airbnb or Booking.com. Users can connect to Airbnb through integration EscapiaConnect or another channel manager.
- Escapia is a large platform and new users should expect a learning curve before they feel comfortable and fluid.
- 2-way SMS messaging is not currently available within Escapia. Users will need to connect to a third-party integration partner if this is an important feature to them.
- Escapia does not currently have a unified inbox for all connected OTAs.
