Pros

When you don’t know where to go, it’s a good start. When you meet someone, ask where they usually find clients. That generally gets you on a better path to find the locals

Cons

Clunky unless you download the app and for whatever reason, I’m resistant. Maybe because I forget to check back. I find fb local groups easier.

Comments

I’ve found that I’ve gotten much more response from local fb groups for all kinds of errands and skilled trades. It’s usually word of mouth and takes a little digging, but great people and decent rates charges for handyman, small tasks and skilled trades. Search words I use to find local groups are “skilled trades + city/county” “owner + STR/Airbnb/VRBO” etc. giving before asking gets better results too.
